Stores Management Processor

Our team of qualified engineers has many years of experience in the design, development and production of Stores Management Processors. GE develops its Stores Management Processors to fit your unique requirements and has a proven record in the field, which can be counted on to perform safely in the harsh environments military aircraft operate in.

The Stores Management Processor (SMP) provides all the control and safety functions necessary for the coordinated deployment of a variety of weapons and other stores from an aircraft. The SMP includes processing capabilities, hardware-based safety interlocks, multiple digital data bus interfaces (1553, Ethernet, ARINC-429) and multiple analog audio and video routing matrices to provide, when used in conjunction with Station Control Units, all the functionality needed to condition and release a large variety of stores, from MIL-STD-1760 compliant to legacy torpedoes, air-to-ground missiles and air-to-air missiles. The SMP provides 2 redundant channels for enhanced mission availability.
